"Chanelle Moon" I have also seen rendered as "Chanel Moon". Usually I roll my eyes hearing a brand name as a given name, but such is the power of Kpop to suppress my worst instincts my eyes remain unrolled.

Athena, besides being exceptionally pretty, deserves notice as a Swedish idol; her parents are Taiwanese and Korean. Her name reminds me that I have been meaning for some time to post something here about postpagan attitudes to the Olympian deities. I hope to get round to this soon!

Yves looks rather good in spectacles here.

Yves is the stage name of kpop idol and sometime Loona member Ha Sooyoung.

In the past people have been critical of the stage name on the grounds of Yves being a given name for males in French.

That criticism strikes me as misguided. In the first place, the challenge to rigid gender markings and the homophony with the English "Eve" belong to the lore of Loona.

In addition, I can't be the only person who is delighted to come across beautiful women with names like James, Charles, Michael, Yves....
