Have you ever had one of those "meh" days where you're not down in the dumps, but you're definitely not on cloud nine either?
You might be experiencing what's known as "languishing"—that blah feeling where you're stuck in the middle, not quite depressed but far from thriving.
So today, I wanted to share some fun ideas to replace the blah with some bliss.

Think about it and never do it.
How many things do you have on that list?
How many times have you thought of that same thing or group of things and just never done it?
You make up excuses why not.
You find other things to do that aren't that.
You complain about the idea that you think you can't.
You end up in a rut.
And sometimes it even becomes a "should" item. It gets relegated to the same list as cleaning out the closets, the oven, or going outside to clean all the windows. You should do it, but you don't. It waits for you to move forward with it.
Why do we get in this rut?
Some of it is fear. Some of it is concerns about what happens if. Some of it is just over-thinking and creating all kinds of wild stories that aren't true. Some of it is just that we don't put ourselves on our own list. We don't make ourselves the priority and so the things we want to do fall to the bottom.
For some of you, you're more likely to clean the closets today out than you are to go after what you want. When dreams are scary, we find all the excuses why not, and we keep making up excuses to avoid going after what we truly want.
Then for some of you, you have no idea what you want, but there's a still feeling that something needs to change. You get caught in a thought loop because you really don't know what to change. You're waiting for that clarity.
Do you want to know how to get clarity?
Stop focusing on the things you don't like about your life.
Stop focusing on the things you don't have control over in your life.
Start trying to make life more tolerable for yourself by making tiny little shifts like dropping things you don't want to do, shifting boundaries slightly, letting go of problems you can't solve, and making more room for yourself in your own life.
When you make more room for yourself and you begin down a path of making life more tolerable and manageable, you will begin to gain the clarity. The vision will start to show up. The buried dream will come to the surface and then you'll have a goal to go after.
When you ask for clarity, when you ask the Universe who you need to become to have the dream that you want, the Universe jumps up to show you.
You asked the question and suddenly life happens. Something happens around you. Those things that start happening are there to show you something. There is something about you in that situation that needs to change. Something about your response or how you think about what's happening. The clues start showing up in your life immediately. The only question is whether you pay attention or not.
The clues don't look like what you think they should. They look like problems. The look like people causing trouble. They look like challenges and obstacles. If you're only looking for things you perceive as good, then you're missing a huge chunk of the message. The crap offers you a message too.
Hint: Learning how to manage the crap is how you get ready to handle your dream, whether you're fully aware of your dream yet or not. I worked through all kinds of things I didn't think I needed until I did.
