Started playing some Super Auto Pets again this week. Somehow I am on an 11 win streak on the weekly. At which point do I get to put proficiency in SAP on my CV? #sap #SuperAutoPets
So I was having a odd five minutes the other day.
When I recorded #SuperAutoPets 71, I remember seeing a difference in the name for the Warg, this can be seen around 2:25 on the video, on the changelog the name of the pet is clearly Warf.
This wouldn’t be the first time I have consistently remembered a character’s name incorrectly. See also with Fuga, where I referred to Britz as Fritz.
So I had to do a bit of investigation on this. Thankfully the Android version of the game didn't have the update drop, so I had to check.
And yeah, it seems they changed the name of the Warg! As it appears in the pet list too! I wasn't going completely mad! I honestly gaslit myself into thinking I had read it wrong the first time!
Initially I thought it was a typo in the changelog! F and G are right next to each other. Very bizarre. It isn't even in the log notes so I am now curious as to what has happened!
Just wanted to share some screenshots of my #Gaming stats for 2023, I am not surprised to a certain extent with some of them, like #HitmanWorldOfAssassination or #SuperAutoPets
I might have to see if I can get my Nintendo stats as well, though I know that I haven't done as much Switch gaming this year as I would like, most of my playtime be in the October/November period when I was recording for Nintember...

Two incredible runs this week. During what is essentially shark/secretary bird week I've managed too very different wins without using the current meta.

Code Bullet's latest video has him screenshotting #SuperAutoPets and following the advice that #ChatGPT gives him on what moves to make. It's such a perfect encapsulation of what ChatGPT is. It is trained on enough scraped internet data that it is capable of recognizing copyrighted assets and spitting out proprietary game rules/mechanics. However, it gets lots of them wrong. Moreover, even with all that stolen data, it still has no idea what is going on, hallucinates mechanics, can't strategize, and can't produce coherent instructions.
An algorithm like, "spend all your money buying pets, preferring duplicates then most to least expensive" would be more effective and use approximately 0.1% of the carbon footprint.

To help me celebrate my birthday, I enlisted the help of my younger brother as we played a couple of runs of #SuperAutoPets
We had a great time with runs of Turtle Pack and Starfish pack!
My brother is a more experienced player, having collected numerous achievements, both stickers and ribbons, in the turtle pack! So let's see who performs better there shall we?
Following that I decided to take him out of his comfort zone and let him see what Strawberry friends are all about!
I must apologise in advance though, the first birthday special, I didn't get his audio balance right, so he is on the quiet side a tiny bit... 😅😅

For a game that is free to play, *with additional content you can purchase, you have very little excuse not to try Super Auto Pets.
The gameplay loop may be frustrating to some with it's easy to learn hard to master mechanics. This Deck Building strategy game gives you a lot to learn, however, the fast pace means you'll hopefully be learning quickly! There is plenty of scope for experimentation on how you build your team of uniquely skilled super cute pets and utilise synergies to shoot for victory!
*The Base game is free and so are the randomised weekly packs that include the paid content in their rotation!
This is casual gaming at it's finest, with an addictive gameplay loops that just begs for "One more run!"
A must play game, 9/10!
