Difficult decision this morning whether to start with the Tyrants or with the Troglodytes in the bird review. Given that the administration consists of both, and that the ultraweathly are both it seemed a toss up. Looking at Ukraine and the impending economic rape of that country, I decided to go with Tyrants, starting with a well known Tyrannus forficatus, the Scissor-tailed Flycatcher.

A larger bird with a very long tail that will form an open v during flight. The head is light grey-blue with a dark eye band and dark eyes. the body is dark grey with lighter edges on feathers. The chest is light and the sides are rufous. This is the Scissor-tailed Flycatcher.
