So I'm re-watching #theDevilsChord from this season of #DoctorWho and I'm realizing between #JinkxMonsoon and #NeilPatrickHarris playing #theMaestro and #theToymaker respectively, #RTD has cast exclusively #Americans as these multiversal, cosmic horrors threatening #theDoctor and Co and I'm not sure if I should feel targeted 😅

Agreed, the first few episodes seemed to have missed the mark (though #TheDevilsChord *was* good, #Boom was great, these last two episodes have been incredible)

@TheDarcBird I feel the plot for #TheDevilsChord was super thin, but I teally enjoyed #JinkxMonsoon as the baddy. Neatly unhinged. #73Yards and #DotAndBubble were great, but felt a big drop in #Rogue. The Rogue character felt really flat and random, plot again didn’t really make sense, and generally I’m not big on the Doctor getting romantically entangled. At least without good buildup! Takes away from the ‘otherness’. I know many seemed to like it though.

I know I'm behind but I just finished watching #TheDevilsChord. Some of the visuals were fantastic, and the way the episode played with reality was great, but I am not feeling the emotion in these eps, and given it's RTD that really surprises me. #SpaceBabies is better #DoctorWho

I’m normally annoyed by Russell T Davies’s habit of solving a #DoctorWho dilemma by introducing a #DeusExMachina, but in the case of #TheDevilsChord I think John and Paul passed the audition.

#TheDevilsChord was amazing, I thought #SpaceBabies was alright but not my thing.
