Our cartoonist adds to the current debate going around in social media on Australian advertising's use of photographic clichés: Should you self-censor and avoid them? Or do they just keep on giving? Here we see the classic cliché we've seen hundreds of times before, you know, the one, the slightly out of focus sexy young woman in the red dress , happy smile, walking towards us, her eyes on the cityscape behind us; the focus of the shot being the eyes of the young bloke holding the hand of his sexy young partner but completely distracted by the sexy arse in the red dress as it goes by; and his partner who is blown away by his complete loss of self-control. We are taken into the underworld of Satan all fire and brimstone. We see white-faced white-haired red-nosed red cheeks Cardinal George Pell still wearing his red robe & his red cap is relaxed in a pool carved into the magma sitting in a liquid bubbling red stew of lava. Satan is sitting on the side of his pool holding his fork and having a white cuppa:
