Well, I figured if I was gonna have to do a romance demo, I should listen to one—not only to find a suitable excerpt, but also to listen and get a feel for the narration style. The wife suggested Virgin River by #RobynCarr , narrated by #TheresePlummer.

Well, there's a plan that didn't work out. I kept listening to the story, forgetting to listen to the narration and for excerpts. Sorry to say, 20 books later I'm still forgetting the mission.

I listen to a lot of #AudioBooks while dog-walking or doing chores. Not all of them engage me enough & they’re background listening, but this one’s pretty good: The Murder House by James Patterson & David Ellis read by Thérèse Plummer & Jay Snyder. I’m not a fan of having more than one narrator, and this book hasn’t convinced me it’s necessary, but I’m coping.
