Before anybody starts, I don't give a 💩 about the presence of #Trans people in the episodes or that the #TimelessChild is now played by a #Queer Black man. As long as the characters are well written and performed, who cares? Davies does tend to do well in this area, unlike Moffat and Chibnall.

What I do care about is good writing and respect for the source material. Davies has so far been hit-and-miss with the specials. I'm not bothering with the Disney episode on Christmas.

That being said, the whole #TimelessChild thing from s.12 was ill-advised and betrayed a fundamental lack of understanding of the franchise.

Kinda like when JJ Abrams brought #Palpatine back to life in #RiseOfSkywalker.
