@Arkanjil @chgowiz @Tim_Eagon @KeithAmmann I’m going with Sine Nomine’s #WithoutNumber system or Green Ronin’s #AGE system as my fantasy/sci-fi go-tos. Throw in Solarian’s #TopSecretNWO, Strange Owl’s steampunk re-imagining of #Space1889, and Mobius Worlds’ #ProwlersandParagonsUE and I’m set. Well there’s a few other systems and settings I want to try but…sigh…can’t we all just get paid to game?
@Tim_Eagon @Arkanjil @ubergrog I’m really into Kevin Crawford’s #WithoutNumber system (#SWN, #WWN, #CWN). The only reason a group I know still plays 5e is the convenience of the e-book sharing through DND Beyond. For pure fantasy I’d rather try #TDE or #CypherSystem with #Planebreaker. I’d really like to find a group to play #TopSecretNWO.

Here is a contemporary #TTRPG engine originally designed for #TopSecretNWO (great game!) but now available under the #ELF for use in any genre you choose to adapt it to. Simply put, your TN is always 13 but the dice pool you roll to hit it changes based on your skills and assets.

A take on all that “monetizing” could mean with a nice start in the spy-genre (#TopSecretNWO ANYONE?). Obviously a subscription based pay-to-play model is a big part but there is also a lot of other merchandising that’s a possibility…remember the #DnD cartoon or lunch box? I’m partial to the d12 but fuzzy d20s would be cool. Will #OneDnD to rule them all help the brand or help the #OSR or #indiegames?
