The #TrailerSocket at the rear of my vehicle is unreliable and needs attention (every time I use it).

This time I'm going to:
A. Tin (put solder on) the ends of the wires.
B. Put thread-locker on the wire-locking screw threads when they're tightened.
C. Pack the internals with waterproof grease before reassembling.

Anything else I could do?

(Thought of Vaseline - it works well in the ground - but the melting point is too low, < 60 degrees Celcius.)
