Israeli physician Bari Danino reports from #Tulkarm that approximately 42,000 Palestinians have been displaced from their homes in West Bank refugee camps in recent months - 22,000 from Tulkarm and Nur al-Shams camps, and 20,000 from Jenin.
Danino observes that "less than an hour's drive from Tel Aviv" and "without the Israeli public being aware," military operations are executing what he describes as "goal No. 5 of the Gaza war: concentration and movement of population." His medical team treated 449 patients, mostly displaced persons lacking basic medications left in abandoned homes.

They report that soldiers fired even in cases where families were notified about plans to demolish the house and tried to save a few more items. The patients I met are not hungry for bread, but they are hungry for medical care.
