I'm tempted to create a Twitter-account and start advertising the reddit- and facebook-style platforms I'm on just to show my disgust. Alas, I'm not very keen on sending Musk my phone number.
Remember everybody, the fediverse is so much more than Mastodon.
I'm currently using Friendica, the Facebook-style fediverse platform. And of course all of you on Mastodon can see my posts.
I also use Lemmy, a reddit style fediverse platform more focused on group posting.
I don't see any bans on any advertisement for these platforms?...

To everyone, who's surprised by the mass banning of journalists', elonJet, Mastodon's and others' accounts over on the birdsite: why are you surprised? I mean, this was pretty obviously predictable ever since that lunatic idiot took over.
I'm sad that despite Twitter stopped being a viable platform, many governments and news organizations are still relying on it instead of considering a usable alternative.
