It’s #UKParliamentWeek! I have been visiting schools in #Watford to talk about parliament and democracy and answer pupils’ questions.

Last night was Parliament Week at Cubs.

We talked about Leaders, what is expected from Sixers...it mostly amounted to me rambling on. 😆

Then we held a series of votes about what activities and badges they wanted to do.

It was a Pack Forum in disguise. Aptly it fits with the concept of explaining democracy, and we were due to get input from our Young People again anyway, so it was stars aligning.

This week is UK Parliament Week which aims to encourage young people to engage with democracy, politics and parliament. In recognition of this we are debating "Should Parliament move around the country?" in our VotesForSchools form time this week.
