"Who decides what...?" The movie was created by a group of students of "Journalism and PR" of FH Joanneum and shines a spotlight on alternative and non-commercial art forms in Graz.

The movie screening and panel discussion concluded the first conference day.

The interesting panel "media & film" has just come to an end:

Nicole Haring spoke about her project on intergenerational storytelling on gender.
Verena Sperk analyzed the politics of online humor based on the social media satire by "Toxische Pommes".
The media representation of chefs on Croation online lifestyle magazine journal.hr was discussed by Marija Geiger Zeman.

Some impressions of the first activism panel:

Ren Aldridge spoke about the "Resistance quilt project.
Karolina Kluczewska's and Laura Luciani's topic was "Framing feminism in Eurasia".
"Undone science" was presented and discussed by Lucia Mair and Awa Naghipour.

The second keynote speaker is Milica Tomić. She is a head of Contemporary Art Institute in the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Technology in Graz since 2014. Milica Tomić’s focus is on “researching, unearthing and bringing to public debate issues” through collaborative and cross-disciplinary work.
