I am cautiously optimistic about Amanda Janoo running for #VTGovernor, but as I've already said, I want to see concrete policy proposals, not vague ideations.

#VTDems need to wake up to the new realities of our nation and the challenges we actually face as a state in it.

#GunControl is a non-starter, so ban it from your vocabulary. We need #LandValueTax and #PublicBanking, first and foremost. We need #urbanism and #redevelopment.

Bernie Sanders' current term is up in Jan 2031, if he doesn't retire before then. He is currently the second-oldest Senator, after Republican Chuck Grassley of Iowa.

He has supposedly said that this term "likely be his last term" in the Senate. So, #VTDems have less than 4 years to figure out who they are going to back to replace Becca Balint in DC and/or Phil Scott in Montp. Election Day 2030 will be here faster than you realize, assuming we still have elections, of course. #VTpol

#Vermont saw a 14% increase in property taxes in 2024, and will see probably another double-digit increase in 2025.

The Dem/Prog supermajority has been broken, but #VTDems need to held accountable. Taxing Vermonters like we have New Jersey's economy, especially after enacting the disastrous "Affordable Heat Act" is the road to ruin.
