When the daylight hours get shorter and the temperatures drop, it's #stew season. One of my favourite recipes uses potatoes, leek, bacon and onions, mustard, white wine and a #saucisson - a type of chunky sausage from the #Vaudt region in #Switzerland that needs to simmer for 50mins.
As with many stews, it may not be the most spectacular in terms of looks, but it's full of flavours and highly nourishing. #food #cooking
