We managed to visit the European #XFEL open day in #schenefeld , just west of #Hamburg, today with the children. Was pretty cool to learn how they use x-rays to image molecules and chemical reactions. They had some nice interactive displays and hands on experiments. Will have to go back when the children are old enough to be allowed to tour the facilities.
