#WashingUpMusic lately has been one of my favourite albums, The Ideal Crash by the (mainly) Belgian band, dEUS. A top album from start to finish with many manic, and mellow, moments. I'm still a huge fan of them but I wish they'd tour more often! And, Guy Garvey is a fan, too. 9/10 #dEUS #TheIdealCrash #belgium #belgian #GuyGarvey

Tonight's #WashingUpMusic is ‘Pro Xristou’ by Rotting Christ. Another fine album, even though I likened it to a Greek "Ghost". Some great riffs and the production is excellent. 8/10.

Tonight's #WashingUpMusic is the album "Ruun" by #Enslaved. An excellent record with great, meaty riffs aplenty. Proper good.

Tonight's #WashingUpMusic was The Leper Affinity and Bleak from The Loyal Disharmonic Orchestra Conducted By The Powers That Be, by #Opeth. Only two tracks but they do total 19 minutes! It's 100% an amazing album. The band at the very top of their game. And THAT version of Harlequin Forest on here is perfection. #MusicToot #metal #TheLeperAffinity #Bleak

Tonight's #WashingUpMusic started off with On A Rope (TOTAL BANGER!!!) by #RocketFromTheCrypt , Tractor Rape Chain (in my favourite 100 songs) by #GuidedByVoices , Skin Deep by #GunsAndWankers (great name, great song), This Mystic Decade by #HotSnakes, Soldiers Requiem by #NakedRaygun, Method by #Pegboy (brilliant) and, finally, another Rocket From The Crypt tune, Bring Us Bullets. Makes up for missing #totp tonight. #MusicToot

Tonight's #WashingUpMusic included Heavy Like The World, by #GuidedByVoices, Subspace Biographies by #RobertPollard (a.k.a. Mr GBV) and North Side Star by the mighty #Mastodon (how cool, eh?). They were all preceded by the new #GBV song, Serene King, another slice of 3 minute pop magic by Robert Pollard and the boys. Hooks straight in.

Today's #WashingUpMusic is #Folklore by #BigBigTrain. This was their 9th album but the 4th with the more "revered" line up that included the late David Longdon. Each #BBT album is a majestical journey and Folklore has many live staples (they rarely played live, anyway!), including The Transit Of Venus Across The Sun, Winkle (a true story, that one), Folklore and Wassail.
