Does anyone else "hear" better when they smoke weed?

I notice that when I'm high, I can hear videos perfectly at like, 50-60% volume, but when I'm straight it needs to be closer to 90%. It doesn't feel like a focus issue so much (like being able to follow one point to a conclusion without 80 billion deviations), but I just...seem to hear better.
