They do not see him as a man that they grudgingly support because of belief in some conservative policy. They LIKE this side of his disgusting personality. You don’t laugh at a known sexual assaulter saying “I love women” unless you condone — or even vicariously enjoy — sexual assault. I am not surprised that there are some among my fellow citizens who are like that. But to see so MANY, that is truly dispiriting. How did we get here?

Anyone else notice this? At the Latrobe rally that #WeirdDonOLD opened with a 12-minute speech about Arnold Palmer, his audience was quiet and low-energy throughout the boring story. The first time they react audibly is when #Trump says “I love women.” The crowd wakes up from its slumber and starts to laugh. As he repeats that statement for effect, they come back to life fully.
This crowd knows about Trump’s sexual habits. They know his history of infidelity and poor treatment of women.

So I just came back from dropping my ballot off in the dropbox.
Ran into another voter are my way into the building with the dropbox. He says “You must be a Republican also since you’re voting early!”
I said to him, “Not wearing this hat.”
He looked up and said “I didn’t even see that. No, I guess not.”
I should add I live in a Red county of Central California and this dropbox is in a large retirement community, so you can guess what that means. Yep, lots of “seasoned” white people like me.
As I’m driving back home I’m looking at the yard signs and was a bit surprised that the D versus R yard signs were pretty equal on the streets I drove down.
Hope that’s another good sign for Dems up and down ballot.

It’s a poll, so yeah, all the usual warnings. It’s likely voters so that’s good. Must be a small sample size given the size of the margin of error.
But these are very encouraging numbers.
