My return to the UK from an idyllic holiday in the #Dolomites made me feel like 1984’s Winston waking from a dream of the golden country. Multiple telescreens beaming images of war, and narrated by an emotionless @BBCNewsUK reporter, lined the embarkation tunnels at #BristolAirport.
