Rant about Medicaid cuts:

Living among people who can't access medical care is bad. Not so much because it's cruel, which it is; but because living amongst a group of people who get sick, and then stay sick because they can't access medical care, is hazardous to your own personal health. Communicable diseases don't care if you're a Republican or rich or even if the only poor people you know are the ones who clean your house.

My apologies if this seems glaringly obvious to you. Apparently, it isn't at all obvious to many of my fellow Americans; including those select few who claim to be running the country.
