But also, they formed their own subunit in gugudan, #SeMiNa.
Their debut (and only) title track does a good job of showcasing their talents. NaYoung and SeJeong’s killing vocals blend very well together.

Before Bigbang debuted, 6 YG trainees appeared in a survival show/making of the group documentary. Jang Hyunseung is the trainee who got cut from the final lineup (Seungri originally got cut too but convinced Yang Hyunsuk to put him on the team anyway).
Hyunseung went on to be a member of Beast and then went solo.

We can't talk about the modern survival show experience without raising a glass to Pentagon's Hui, who was discharged from military service and immediately placed into the survival show Boys Planet, where he was older than the youngest contestant by 14 years 🥲
Other fun Hui facts: he has composed and produced various songs for other idol groups, including Wanna One! He also was part of Triple H, with our favourite "are they back together or?" couple HyunA and Dawn.
Hui is about to release his first solo mini-album, Whu is me: Complex, dropping in just 1 day!

Post HotShot and Wanna One he's released 7 Mini Albums as a soloist, and written for other artists. He is currently completing his military service.

#gugudan had three members in the first season of #Produce101. #KimSejeong and #KangMina ended up in the frustratingly short-lived group, #IOI.
Anyway, here’s my favorite gugudan song. Their concept is Narcissus, and it’s expressed in a number of fun ways, including one of them being lowkey a literal plant.
Another #WhereAreTheyNow for #KpopMonday is #YooYeonjung who came 11th in #Produce101. After the show ended, she went back to Starship where she had a spot waiting for her in #WJSN where she's been ever since.
