I don't play Sonic Rumble (yet) as I've been told it has a quite predatory microtransaction system, but hey, I'm happy about IDW Sonic characters being featured in more stuff!

@NeonNoodle Well, I enjoy all the racing games, (I assume Sonic Racing Transformed is cheaper now?) but I also had fun with the Mario and Sonic Olympics games on Nintendo consoles.

And there's still the "Dark Brotherhood" RPG game on the DS...or 3DS? I never finished it, but it was fun, even though it's not considered "canon" anymore.

Also, I've finally started writing that fanfic yesterday. I still fear the chapter leading up to the part I'm actually looking forward to will be totally boring to everyone, because I'm really not a, well, writer.
But well, it needs to be done!

(The added excerpt is from the notes I WANT to lead up to, not the current chapter, so, work in progress.)

Now it was Whisper's heart that skipped. First, out of surprise. It was unusual for her to hear such a thing. She never really considered anyone wanting to be with her...like that. Not after what she went through. There hadn't been much room in her heart for love and affection, as much as she would've like it.

But mostly...it was her happiness that was even stronger as her surprise as she heard Tangle's words. She raised her head and looked into the other girl's face, the warm sunlight illuminating her features even more clearly.

I've been driving late tonight, which is why I'm writing this so late (for my time zone), but my brain basically spent the last 20 minutes or so coming up with a tear-jerking (in a positive way) fanfic scene idea with IDW Sonic's Whisper and Tangle.

I don't feel that I'm already ready to write fanfics about them, I'm still so early in the comics, but I really want to write that scene. But I'll need to lead up to it!
