Alright. It's time to edit #Wikipedia and get our access to #WikipediaLibrary back :)

I found it some days the screen really hurts me and my mentality. So I get on with me #ebookreader. And now I want more books and articles to read.

It was a long time I wanted to read about the #GospelOfBarnabas. Since last time I had read its Wikipedia page, there isn't much new. I would like to check the Talk page and also check various scholary sources to see what Wikipedia editors haven't included.

Also, it seems that soon I will either need to use me phone as a storage, or upgrade me Nextcloud storage to something more. Or maybe just host all me library online in me Sweden server? :)

@internetarchive Suggestions for the #WikipediaLibrary with more then 202 votes have already a task on Phabricator. Actually for the Internet Archive Books we have "only" 193 votes. Anyone else (inside the wikipedian community :wikipedia:) for supporting this suggestion? wikipedialibrary.wmflabs.org/s

Call for #wikipedians using The #WikipediaLibrary : have you ever found a source in the #InternetArchiveBooks you can't use or read simply because you have not a complete access to all pages? I'm having this experience today, it's annoying. WHY we as volunteers still not have full access to these resources of @internetarchive ? BECAUSE there is a suggestion to include it in the list of partners still not approuved. If you care about such a relevant partner, please support the suggestion.

screenshot of the page https://wikipedialibrary.wmflabs.org/suggest/ , focus on the section about the suggestion of the Internet archive (Books). There is only this black text on grey-white background on the screenshot:
"Internet archive (Books)

Description: Some books on archive.org can be only "borrowed", meaning that you can read it only for a short period of time. I don't know it is possible, but can read books limitless will be very usefull to add sources.

191 are votes to the suggestions.

Still have mixed feeling about #WikipediaLibrary. It enables me accessing paywalled journals/books legally. But does it discourage people to use more open access resources?

Anyway as long as the end products (wikipedia articles etc) is open and free it's still a win I guess.

@theresnotime I use Oxford Art Online to add references to #wikidata :wikidata: a lot. Also JSTOR and various journals. #WikipediaLibrary rocks.

It turns out they were the twins Miss Bessie Donovan wikidata.org/wiki/Q122346973 & Mrs Grace Ellen Lucas wikidata.org/wiki/Q122348827. I found information on them in JSTOR (access provided by the Wikipedia Library) as well as via a search of the Biodiversity Heritage Library. #BHL #WikipediaLibrary #Wikidata

@thisismyglasgow Down the rabbit hole from West George St! Your photo and text on #verdigris led me off into fascinating articles on "Verdigris and the Entrepreneuse" about the women-organised industry and international trade based in 18th century Montpellier. They doused copper strips in strong red wine, left to ferment, then the crystals were scraped off and pulverised. ( Journal access thanks to #wikipedialibrary , always a useful resource )

@JakeOrlowitz hi Jake, thanks for following. I am quite interested to learn about about #WikipediaLibrary & related. It is new to me, but right up my alley, as I formerly worked in scholarly/professional publishing, am librarian by study and former work and inclination, run #HousingWiki, and constantly access or try to access paywalled sources. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipe
