Nice gentle one with @ivan_t_dog this morning. Walking the downhills because his elbows are playing up. And, to be honest, walking a lot of the uphills because my legs are aching. Quite warm when you're sheltered from the breeze, but the wind has a proper bite when you're exposed to it.

Had to come back through a field of Belted Galloways, but fortunately they were quite relaxed about us being there.

Red Squirrel feeding at Wooler Common, Northumberland, UK. A kind lady fills all the bird and squirrel feeders every morning at this location and has been for the last six years. That kind of dedication must have saved many birds and other assorted wildlife this last harsh winter. 👍 👩‍🦳
