I've been giving #GrayJay a shot for a while now and contrary to my expectations it IS filling the gap left by #YouTubeVanced (RIP). It's all that and more. It doesn't have #sponsorblock but it does do a lot of more interesting things. My only problem with it honestly is that it's really unstable. I don't mind it taking a while to refresh but it crashes to often. When it gets stable I'll actually throw some money at it.

Bisher hatte ich #NewPipe als Ersatz für die YouTube-App. Jetzt probiere ich #YouTubeVanced aus. Funktioniert sehr gut.

Von YouTube Vanced gibt es eine Version für Geräte ohne Root und eine Version für Root. Mir ist nur nicht klar, wo der Unterschied ist.

Ersetzt die Root-Version von Vanced die YT-App von Google? Oder wird sie nur als Standard für YouTube-Links gesetzt? Denn das ist genau das, was mich jetzt noch nervt. Bei Links geht immer die originale YT-App auf.
