I wrapped up my season 11 re-run in Zombies, Run! with my run today. With the cliffhanger I’m now hoping the season can be continued soon.

I continued with my re-run of season 11 of Zombies, Run! and appreciated the dynamic between Felix and Mateo more than the first time.

I’ve nearly wrapped up season 11, and this penultimate episode was more enjoyable to run knowing the season will finally continue this year.

Bickering academics in a museum made for a wacky mission in Zombies, Run! today.

For today’s run I continued on with the next Season 11 mission from Zombies, Run!, eventually encountering a zombie conquistador.

I’m enjoying the re-run of season 11 of Zombies, Run! and the new characters introduced in it. I didn’t appreciate Felix this much the first time around, but his arc makes these earlier episodes work.

Today I ran home to another mission from the most recent season of Zombies, Run! I was a bit distracted but enjoyed what was a genuine return to form for the story from the last season and a half.

My first run of 2026 was just a short one to get groceries, but it felt good to get moving.

In 2025 I ran more kilometers (1261) than any year since I started running consistently in 2014 after I started with Zombies, Run! I'm happy I could be more consistent this year and was especially thrilled to finally get back to doing an in-person race in September.

Good news from a little app I love

I’m sure I’ve mentioned Zombies Run! to you before. It tells the story of a surviving colony after the Zombie apocalypse with you as the main character? You remember.

Anyway. Earlier this year I was disheartened to hear that the company that had purchased Six to Start (creator of said app) had laid off the entire staff but for two individuals. While I’m still making my way through the existing content this seemed like a bad sign for the future.

Back in 2021 OliveX acquired Six to Start and everything seemed to be fine. Episodes were produced and seasons added. Then the bad news landed early 2025. It turns out OliveX had all sorts of NFT plans for Zombies Run! but the creators weren’t having it.

Now the good news! One of the founding partners has purchased the app from Olive X and, I can only hope, it will live a glorious undead life from here on out.

Seems like me and the other Runners 5 will live to be chased another day.
