My 30-or-more year old washing machine is full of dirty clothes, and the focus is on the knob that starts the load.

My work meetings are usually "camera on" but today I was able to turn it off for a bit, and that's when the knitting came out. The purple section of my #PDChorizontalHold is growing!

P.S. I can pay attention just as well while knitting something simple as I can while staring at a computer monitor. I'd knit during meetings with the camera on, if I thought it would be socially acceptable!

I've tiles two kaleidoscopic polymer clay cane slices next to each other on a backing sheet to extend the design, and now I'm rolling the sheet through the pasta machine for consistency.

My shawl in progress has reached the halfway point. I've finished with orange and have started knitting with purple.

I may not do the actual making tonight because this short week has wiped me out, day-job-wise, but I am at least picking out the patterns for a few seam rippers to be right now 🙂

I'm sitting at my desk looking at four polymer clay millefiori canes that I will soon slice up and use to decorate the handles of some seam rippers.

Day 4 of this project and I'm already stretching the definition of "make" 😆

I'm making tags for these seam rippers that are headed to the Urban Sewciety shop soon (yay!)

Cropped view of a shawl on the needles. It's mostly an orange-red color, but now a variegated orange and purple stripe has been introduced. There are 6 stripes so far and a 7th in progress.

New year, new #photography project? I considered starting another Project 365, but I don't want to, lol. After two years without a daily project, I have commitment issues 😁

So, how about #amonthofmaking for January? I can ease myself back into a photography project while simultaneously cultivating some creative energy.
