Researchers from @EPFL, Empa and CSEM have developed a wireless, chipless, printed smart sensor tag that can detect whether a certain temperature threshold has been exceeded. The smart tag can support a sustainable #iot, from materials selection to waste minimization via #additivemanufacturing, to end-of-life #composting!

Zum Einsatz kommen dabei zwölf Verfahren und unterschiedlichste Materialien. Ein digitales #Lager mit über 1.000 Konstruktionsmodellen ersetzt physische Bestände und beschleunigt #Reparaturen.

Auch ein eigenes Netzwerk mit 140 Partnern unterstützt die Weiterentwicklung der Technologie.
