The #OnePageRules #AlienHives are getting their finish (i.e. gloss on the claws and mouths after a matte varnish).
I also found this miniature that I usually only find after Christmas, so I'm starting it as a seasonal project
Thinking about giving them a mouthwash.
Then, varnish.
Otherwise,they are finished to a "good enough" state.
I like where this is going. And it still did not take much time to get here 🙂

Progress on the #AlienHives
I've given them the OSL airbrushing from below as planned - hardly visible, but it works.
Under UV light, it really pops 🤩, but I cannot really show that on a photography (the attached pic gets close, but the colors are off...)
Started painting the #AlienHives (aiming for a quick job with them even more): base color with "Petroleum Gray' SC-57 and a drybrush with "Cantabric Blue" SC-53.
I think it combines nicely with the bases' colors.
(looks a little darker IRL)

Going on with some more base colors on the #mummifiedUndead and drybrushing for highlights. They're deep in "trust the process" territory right now 😬

I haven't decided on a color scheme yet and am open to suggestions.
At the moment, I'm leaning towards a combination of light beige-brown (chest) and dark gray-brown (back/spines), but I'm not quite sure yet.
I will try to then add a simple OSL orange from below by airbrush.
