Joah, ich warte es jetzt einfach mal ab... #onepagerules haben ja als zentrales feature die abwechselnde Aktivierungsreihenfolge, im Gegensatz zum "I go - you go" in Warhammer.

40k hat daher diese steile Lernkurve, was die anfängliche Aufstellung betrifft. Ich denke, wenn man ein paar Spiele drin hat, bei denen man ein-zwei Einheiten verloren hat, bevor man überhaupt einmal dran war, dann werden die Balancing-Fragen in Grimdark Future (Firefight) ganz anders bewertet werden.

Ach ja... Nach fast zwei Jahren scheint meine Reise mit den #onepagerules leider zu Ende zu gehen.

Einer meiner zwei Spieler findet, es wäre jetzt mal Zeit, mit dem "richtigen" #tabletop anzufangen, also #warhammer40k. Ich hatte in letzter Zeit eine kleine Siegesserie gegen den anderen Spieler. Das wurde nun als Gelegenheit genutzt, um zu erörtern, wieso es am schlechten Balancing von #GrimdarkFuture liegt (insert König-Theoden-Grima-Schlangenzunge-gif here).

Dear #warhammerCommunity, before I jump into a homemade solution with a spreadsheet or some sql of sort...

Is there any dedicated app (or web) to keep track of your miniature collection where you can add custom metadata to the miniatures?

My use case is that I have miniatures that are valid in several games. I would love to be able to, for example, add a tag per game so that I can later filter by it and see all minis I have for a certain game.

Any idea or suggestion is welcome! 🙏

DAO/T'au color scheme idea (before "pin wash" and almost all other details): white, black and gold
I call it "Aun'Shi's Honor Guard".

I really like the color combo, but (I might have said that before 🙄) painting bright colors is a pita and thus not really compatible with my aim of quick finishing.
So I'm not really sure 🤔

What do y'all think?

This is the next little project: paint some of my #warhammer40k #Tau, maybe a small team to be ready for #killteam or #OnePageRules #GrimdarkFutureFirefight in case a chance to play might come up some time.

A Tau fire warrior - a science fiction alien soldier with a long gun and robit-like helmet.
It has petrol green skin visible on the hoof-like legs and dark grey (with a light blue hue) cloth parts under the armor
Armor parts and rifle are still unpainted (except for some smear from the drybrushing) and primed in an almost white light grey

Thinking about giving them a mouthwash.
Then, varnish.
Otherwise,they are finished to a "good enough" state.

The biggest oft the miniatures on a holder. The gun he's holding is painted in a dark, blueish metal tone and the "plasma barrel" part of the gun is a darkish blue, as well as his eyes.

The same mini from a slightly turned angle and under UV light. The eyes and weapon elements are now glowing in a fluo blue, while the underside and the base glow in orange red and yellow

UV only, otherwise dark. Same as before, but the fluo glow now reaaly shows

I've given them the OSL airbrushing from below as planned - hardly visible, but it works.
Under UV light, it really pops 🤩, but I cannot really show that on a photography (the attached pic gets close, but the colors are off...)

Ein #tabletop Spieli hat mich gefragt, ob ich dem Combat Patrol Format von #40k nicht doch noch eine Chance geben will.

1. Problem: Ich werde mir keine solche Box kaufen. Ich habe allerdings genügend #GrimdarkFuture Miniaturen aus dem #3DDruck hier liegen, um zu improvisieren.

2. Problem: Kein individueller Listenbau? Na gut, kann ja ne Box nachbauen.

Testing out a few kitbash ideas for a black numenorean and a couple of orcs at his command.

These are 99% northstar bits (the only thing that isn't is the cloak)... and they're just blu-tacked together at the moment.

Quite happy with them so far :)
