So Unity did some epic backpedaling today. More or less back where it all started, just with the money screws a bit tighter. In the end the fallout from this debacle will have been absolutely minimal. A shame though, Unity has become too big to fail and I for one would rather see a more diverse game engine ecosystem.
Advice & motivational soundbites, please, for Year 1 undergraduate son who's been SO looking forward to today, 1st day at #UniversityOfGlasgow but de-flated by #IndustrialAction.

A fine little movie scene this. All of them nicely kitted out in scarlet, to welcome the King. Trying to remain dignified in the heavy winds and spray of water on the unsteady deck. "But he did not come."
Finally gotten round to watching the third (and possibly final) entry of the Fantastic Beasts series, The Secrets Of Dumbledore. Talk about a let down - obscured by darkness in many scenes, a confused narrative, obvious and uncomfortable parallels to Nazi Germany and hardly anything interesting happening.
