I’ve taken on some employment recently. The last job I had radicalised me against corporate bullshit. This job is particularly tricky as there isnt much to do. I spend most of my time trying to look busy, as my whole team are high level corpo's who dont realise how unproductive we all are.

Your patronage is not enough. The transaction of goods and services for money is not enough, there is still profit to be extracted. These companies use facial recognition, sentiment analysis, and eye-tracking software to know every product you look at and the mood you are in. They record every payment method you have used, who you ship to, and how often. Then they sell this to the highest bidder, only to buy it back bundled with data from your social media, other retailers, your car manufacturer, and your phone’s GPS location. With this data, they perform abstract analysis to determine, down to the penny, how much more value they can extract from you.
You would think this is enough, but it’s not. They lay off workers and never replace them, piling the workload on those who remain in order to extract more value from them. They guilt employees into not using vacation, convince them they don’t need a union, and keep them voting against their own interests every day. When does it end?

like sure you could say #Leverage is a cheap A-Team ripoff if you're into facile analysis. but you know who the villain is every week? some rich prick (often explicitly A CORPORATE HIGHER-UP, thank you) who desperately deserves to be drawn and quartered/imprisoned/dragged through court. and every week they get beat. that's better than reality any damn day of the week
and it's even sorta educational if you're looking to get into the #anticorp mindset 🤪
