Otherwise, human kind is in great danger of becoming easy targets for #manipulation, #greed, #corruption and other dangers.
LLMs are not a disruptive tool like cars or printing presses. They are a concept like #money which is and will be used to control the masses.
This isn't going away. So let's face its dangers and deal with it properly before it is too late.

There are two cost components:
1) the added tax that the conservatives are collecting from the citizens of the USA.
2) the extra profit the bigCorps are adding on because it can hide under the umbrella of the tax the conservatives have imposed on the people.
The benefit of having the #bigCorps collect the #tax is that the corps can add on a little something for themselves. Every gangster knows that the bag-man gets a cut. Its criminality 101.

lets have civil treatment for the truly mentally ill in public hospitals..

The US #conservatives are breaking a trade-agreement, treat the agreement as broken. It was signed as a single agreement and it falls as one. That includes the part about you changing your laws so their bigCorps can made bigger profits.
Do not respond to the US raising #tariffs by raising tariffs. This only hurts your own people by taxing them too and this helps the #bigCorps.

People need to understand that everything the conservative and the GOP do is in service to their masters, the #bigCorps not the american people.

paypal and a few other are in bed with a few other #bigCorps, credit card corps etc, to track everyone and then sell that info to anyone what wants to pay. These bigCorps have told us our government is forceing everyone into such a system. It goes by a number of names, Know Your Customer etc.
It has an upside, it is suppose to reduce dark money funding criminal/political activity but recent history has shown us that it doesn't really do that.

I think of it as national IQ test day.
Every number that I put on a form our government already has; the #bigCorps have already given it to them.
The test is if I can put those numbers in the correct box and do simple math.
There is penalties for getting it wrong but no new information is provided to our government.

it will create a feudal system of government with the #bigCorps in charge. The people will have no say; if a bigCorp can make a buck by polluting a river or killing a few workers then that will be ok. a simple trade-off

How much of the federal work is being done my private corporation, via "contract" workers.
We are paying a profit to those #bigCorps to get our work done; which concentrates the wealth.
Maybe the workforce SHOULD grow, we would save the profit and that money would be paid to the workers directly.
The corps would then have more #customers with cash in their pockets, to buy stuff and that would give the corps a reason to build plants and hire folks.
