A recent #siliconvalley #sillyvalley find - a #mug from #arts - an American #satellite control system

Likely from someone at the #bluecube or the #fordAerospace office in #SunnyvaleCA

This mug has good balance, good handle, and size/capacity. Besides the history/coolness factor, a favorite mug of mine.

The mug has the inscription "made in #England" underneath - sadly no #ironMaiden reference

On February 1st, 2003 STS-107 Space Shuttle Columbia disintegrated during reentry killing all onboard. In 2018 while exploring what remained of Onizuka Air Force Station, I found a small memorial built by those stationed there. There is lots of dead foliage and a bush growing to the right and upper center
