Waarom zitten #Crijns en #Boon niet in de bak ??

- je zegt alleen maar sorry omdat je betrapt bent. Er zijn geen gevolgen voor Maikel Boon en Patrick Crijns.
- Het erge is dat wij met z'n allen het loon van deze twee betalen.
- "De site is offline" ..... nou echt niet. Facebook doet 't gewoon nog, dus de bagger gaat vast wel rond daar.
Het zegt ook wel wat over de #PVV. Dat ze zich moeten verlagen tot het niveau van een middelbare scholier met dit pestgedrag. En dat is dan eigenlijk nog een belediging voor de meeste middelbare scholieren. Wat een walgelijke mensen zijn dat, die #Boon en #Crijns. Ik hoop dat hier wat aan gedaan kan worden via de rechter.

Opvallend weinig aandacht in de media voor de fascistische, vrouwonvriendelijke AI-fröbelaars van de PVV. Ook niks bij #WNLOpZondag of #Buitenhof.

I am running #boon in #emacs for the last 2 weeks... and I like it so far. Don't care about ergonomic kb, so I am using the emacs-keymap with some extensions. It is well thought out - C-x god-key assumes that that the next key is used as it is, but C-c assumes that the next one is a C-prefix. I don't know about author's reasoning, but it works as you expect. It is also a reasonably thin layer - I use avy, embark, expand-region, embrace all the time and don't feel like I am working around boon.

One thing I find lacking in both #meow and #boon: selectors are not forward-looking. If a place my cursor on the begin of a line like this:
-> This is a test line with some (parens).
and do 'vi(' in neovim, "parens" gets selected. In meow and boon cursor has to be insides quotes, which makes the selector a lot less useful in my opinion.
Some cool things about #boon:
- Easy configurable keybindings
- No "weird" things, like mark a region for everything
- Has templates for multiple layouts (Colemak, Dvorak, QWERTY variants, Workman)
- Has a dedicated layout for #emacs keybindings, where it feels like a better God-mod or #devil-mod
- Selectors are quite powerful, I like them more than vim's (found #meow lacking in that regard, but don't remember why exactly, something with delimiters?)

I think that over the last year I've won enough distance from #neovim so that I can try out modal editing packages without my muscle memory interfering. I've tested #meow and #boon so far. Meow is a rather standard modal kakoune-like package with inverted grammar... I've found it lacking. Boon surprised me - seems to be well-thought out with focus on ergonomics and generally faster. Btw, I never understood the "leader" in emacs - it is a "vimism". **x -> C-x** and **c -> C-c** is the way.
On the pedestal, suspended in midair, hung an oboe. At least it had the regular shape of an oboe with some irregular decorations.
The staple looked like an ever so slightly, crooked monkey finger; each key was a tiny hand cupping a tone hole, and the bell was a friendly grinning monkey's mouth. The whole instrument was covered in fine fur.

"You know the monkey's paw?" Itikona ran her hand through the fur. "I have decided they've had enough, so I'll give them this. It brings luck and joy to those who hear its music."
Solimar looked solemnly unconvinced.
"I call it the..."
Solimar prepared for the worst.

Itikona laughed, Solimar winced.
