Walking by Botanisk Have Aarhus – the botanical gardens – looking in from the street. Foreground – plants, trees, grasses, a rockery, a lawn, hedges, with very vivid greens everywhere after a few days of sunshine and cloudbursts. Just beyond, the distinctive glass houses – a very elongated low one like a horizon of many window panes, ending to the right with a triangular section. Rising above and behind these, the geodome with it’s ballooning shape and multiple windows reflecting white and blue from the sky. The sky above is quite dramatic – deep blue and dirty grey and black storm clouds swirling in on the domes through a few remaining patches of bright blue summer sky. In the middle of it all, comically to me, a single window at the top of the geodome is open, jutting up, like a skylight someone forgot to shut, into which the sky is going to pour a cloudburst of water any second now.

Another of my fixpoints in #Copenhagen is the #BotaniskHave with the #PalmHouse.
The #garden outside didn't make that much this time of the year.
But the #butterflies in the palm house were just amazing. A #glasswing landed on my hand and didn't leave me for 10+ minutes, probably drinking my salty sweat (it was warm!).
I can't remember how often I've taken the shot of the palm house terrace - but it is a tradition for each visit.
Next time, I'll bring my camera. My phone doesn't cut the mustard.
