#ArtAdventCalendar Day 14 I did this design for one of my graphic design classes. It's a poster for an imaginary kite festival. My inspiration for the kites was a Calder mobile, then the main string contains event info. #EastCoastKin #GraphicDesign #Art #Calder

The poster has a pale yellow/orange background with the dates and name of the festival ("Drachenfest--German for kite festival) and location (Britzer Garden). The shape and colors of the kites look like an Alexander Calder mobile upside down. The shapes go from large on the left, down to small on the right. They are organic shapes, each a different color (red, blue, sea foam green, orange, yellow, pink and mauve), all of which are connected by lines representing strings. It's a minimalist design.

Skulptur in Fußgängerstraße im Hinterhrund historische Gebäude, viele Wolken am blauen Himmel. Geschätzt 7 m hohes Stabile auf drei Beinen, die in ca 4 m Höhe zusammenführen in schwarz, weiß, rot und gelb. It was about 10.30 or so.

To my surprise we saw 5 #mobs of #kangaroos along the #Calder.

A bit late for them to be about & in such numbers.

@hitc I think Lane Hutson had been a favorite for a few months to win this. What he did was pretty incredible stats wise, but also in terms of playmaking. His progression was phenomenal. And work ethics! He never takes a break from training and practice even on his days off. But for him he says it is not work. He loves #hockey that much.
