If you do not have prescription insurance coverage, through your employer, etc., you're obliged to have RAMQ prescription coverage.
However, RAMQ has changed who is eligible and is NOT COVERING COVID-19 VACCINES IF YOU'RE NOT ELIGIBLE.
150$ isn't even what Moderna/Pfizer, etc. spends to make each COVID-19 vaccine.

The point of Santé Québec is to privatize almost ALL healthcare. It's doing so, right now, w/ the COVID-19 vaccines.
Santé Québec oversees the ordering process for the COVID-19 vaccines given to at-risk groups, which are sent to wholesalers and then distributed to pharmacies.
For the paid vaccines, Santé Québec is not involved. Pharmacies place their orders directly with wholesalers, who order the vaccines from manufacturers.
