After nearly a week of being unjustly detained in an Israeli prison for
joining over 400 people from around the world in the Global Sumud
Flotilla to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza, Carsie has been
released and is on her way home.

The delay in Carsie’s return to the US means that we had to
make the difficult decision to reschedule her October tour to
early Spring 2026. We are working with each of the venues to
confirm the new dates and will announce them just as soon as we
have them, likely by the end of this week.

Artists have the responsibility to take a stand.
We are grateful and proud that all of you—Carsie’s
community — have stepped up to stand with the people of
Palestine and against the genocide, while also demanding the
release of the flotilla activists.

This effort shows the power of collective organizing.
We know that the rescheduled spring tour will be even more
meaningful and significant with all of you part of it.
All eyes on Gaza. Free Palestine!

does anyone have an update on #carsieblanton and others in the #global_sumud_flotilla ? I know a couple groups have been released from #israeli prison but not all. #carsieblanton is from #virginia #usa and a family friend. We are also fans of her music.

The 24 US citizens that were taken by the flotilla interceptions are not being released.

Why? The US government is taking a unique postion, that is they are siding with the genocidaires.

The US ambassador Huckabee said, “a carbon-spewing Hamas-funded boat ride in violation of [international] law intruding into a war zone to stand [with] terrorists.”

1. Spewing carbon is the US ruling party's stated position. They should be ecstatic.

2. They were intercepted in international waters. Not a war zone.

3. The proof that the flotilla was funded by Hamas is completely disengenious. Seven people associated with the flotilla signed an agreement written by the Popular Conference for Palestinians Abroad (PCPA) that people should join together to support Palestine. In 2021. There is no proof whatsoever that money came from Hamas for the flotilla. None.

4. This was a humanitarian mission, maybe somewhat symbolic, but not in support of terrorism.

Not one part of Huckabee's statement makes any sense.

Update: There are two sources that say #CarsieBlanton has been deported from Israel. The Insta account of b_thefolksinger, someone who has toured with her, says she has been deported. And the x account of GSF commentary says that the last of the flotilla has been deported to Jordan through the work of Tunisia.

Update 2: There is video of her with several other just deported flotilla members posing for the camera on her official Assbook account from 5 hours ago.

Got an email from #CarsieBlanton today complaining that the algos don't like her talking about #Gaza etc. Exactly what I've been saying. If you love independent artists that challenge the status quo, you need to advocate that everyone move to decentralized social media without algos. Otherwise culture is just gonna get more corporate and totally suck. #DemocracyOfReach
