Because I can not let glue dry...I moved to another project. This uses two #cbgitty kits, the amp and the psycho box, along with a large cigar box as the enclosure. It is better sounding than I imagined. Enclosures ftw.

The crank shaft and wheel are now housed in a nice thick wood cigar box. I'm using #cbgitty box as the sound board and possible bottom...still figuring the sonic realities of that.
The neck is going to be at least one hardwood one with ,maybe, a fretboard. The drones are going on the sides in a as yet to be determined layout.

4 strings put on and tuned, for now, GDG*B. The kalimba is on and semi tuned. I want it deeper, maybe a second row. Overall it makes a great resonant sound but I still need to get the springs inside and possibly some sympathetic strings. More as it happeneds.
Building a 4 string resonator guitar....with a few builds under my belt I have picked up on the cupped hand sanding technique...and since the hand sanding is going to be the one playing it the finished build glides nicely. Power sander? Having just ate dinner I am the power sander.

Good Morning ..let's make a #fiddle . #cbgitty 's American Fiddle kit is what I am working on. Of course I misread several steps and am now improvising because....me. I am at the #letGlueDry stage, so let's get some coveffe.
#cigarboxguitar No amplification, cruddy phone mic. First sounds...and the first song from @ridetheory s favorite musical acts. A few fixes on the bridge and I think it's ready to pack.
There are spots of over eager chiseling and one gaf around the neck that requires me to get a better saw if I am going to persue making more guitars. All in all a fun build.

The first few notes on my #cigarboxguitar ...rather #cigarboxbass I am almost finished building. It's a dark beast ..the thick gauge string put a hurt on my fingers. Now to button it up and test it amped. Also...fix the intonation.
And now we build a 3 string bass.
