I like this scale for #celcius:
0°C is freezing (32°F)
10°C is chilly (50°F)
20°C is comfortable (68°F)
30°C is hot (82°F)
40°C is effing hot (104°F)

The #dossier was due at 4:30 pm and the online system was set to auto-upload and boot you out whether done or not. I submitted it at 3:10 pm. Here's a post especially for Americans to explain the Celsius temperature scale:
Celcius is easy to explain:
-10ºC = Brass balls weather (ie. freeze the balls off one)
0ºC = freezing
10ºC = cold
20ºC = warm
30ºC = hot
40ºC = too hot
50ºC = scalding hot
60ºC = you die
70ºC = you're well done (as in cooked)
80ºC = your alcohol has evaporated
90ºC = you can make a good cup of coffee
100ºC = water boils

If anyone intends to clearly communicate about Climate Change they must use both Celcius and Fahrenheit when discussing it. Otherwise those in the U.S. won't fully grasp the issue since celcius is foreign to them.

Let's start using C/F in all of our communication to reach everyone.

Except when discussing weather temperatures, where Fahrenheit is the long favorite.

In °F, relative to humans: 0° is a fucking cold day. 100° is a fucking hot day.. It's easy to intuit how comfortable a day's gonna be.

The equivalent °C are -17.778° and 37.778°. It's maddening. Kelvin has its uses as well, but you would use it to measure daily temperature on Earth!

One tactic that's helped me quickly approximate #fahrenheit to #celcius (or vice-versa) conversions is to have a relatable anchoring number: 20°C = 68°F, which is a very comfortable #temperature

Where as with FTX, it is clear there was just outright misappropriation of funds. I guess that makes it an open and shut case in comparison.

On the #bankruptcy beat, it looks like #crypto exchange #FTX is about to join #Cred and #Celcius into the world of insolvency. FTX was seeking to be bought out by competitor Binance, but it looks like once it saw FTX's balance sheets it immediately pulled out of the deal.

FTX is stating that its American unit is insulated from all the turmoil... but that seems rather unlikely from the surface.
