A couple of flower photos from today's walk around Angle Bay.

Help in identifying the Iris appreciated: is it the native UK species or has it escaped from someone's garden?

Also, are the yellow flowers Broom or Birds-Foot Trefoil? I couldn't see any foliage to speak of, it was all mixed up with vetch.

A blue Iris flower, photographed from such an angle that it forms an X shape. The lower petals are pale blue to white, but heavily veined in dark blue. There are three of these, but one is hidden from view behind the centre of the flower. There are also three upper petals, one pointing at the camera, which are a light blue. A further three structures, beige in colour, sit between the upper petals. I don't know what they are.

The stem is bright green, but is mostly obscured by a second flower, which is malformed or only partially open.

Some dark green leaves can be discerned in the background.

A moderately close-up view of a white clover flower head, with clover leaves and some blades of grass in the backgound.

A cluster of bright yellow flowers, similar in form to pea flowers. More such clusters are in the background, along with blades of grass and other indistinct foliage.

There’s a patch of clover in my garden that I never remove.
It was sown years ago by my late mother, and ever since, I’ve made sure part of it stays.
A small, living memory — quietly blooming, year after year.
