Resisting the strong urge to exclaim "Ipso facto nutso!", I wonder if Thiel used ChatGPT (or ChatGPT used Thiel).

While one could criticise the FT for publishing this, it catches the zeitgeist of bold claims for AI, woolly ideas that tech bros call "thinking" and the tech industry-RW political complex (apologies to Eisenhower).

By publishing this, the FT brings Thiel's views to a wider audience, which can make up its own mind - if they can decipher his op-ed.

Municipalities need to do a much better job screening applicants for executive and #lawEnforcement positions. People with absurd, #conspiracist beliefs are unstable, and have no business being in a position of #authority and community trust.
