- Provocations: 21 subs (‘22: 32 subs, 14 accepts)
- Posters: 30 subs (‘22: 23 subs, 12 accepts)
- Demos: 5 subs (‘22: 2 subs, 2 accepts)

The #ACM conference on #ConversationalUserInterfaces (#CUI2023) call for *provocation* papers is out!
"Provocations at CUI are original and unpublished contributions from a broad range of disciplines, including human-computer interaction, computer science, engineering, speech technology, linguistics, psychology, cognitive sciences, sociology and other cognate disciplines. A provocation should discuss or communicate a thought-provoking idea or proposal that can be made in a few pages. The contribution should have the potential to spark debate and discussion at the conference. We encourage out-of-the-box or even controversial ideas to be proposed through provocation."
Deadline is 17 April, conference is in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, 19-21 July.

To give authors a little more wiggle room, we’re extending the deadline for #cui2023 PDFs for full papers a few days to polish their drafts. The deadline is now Sunday 26th Anywhere on Earth (note the meta data deadline has now passed and we aren’t reopening this).
Some authors flagged that PCS wanted revised manuscripts etc by next week. We’ve fixed the PCS settings now to be correct. Metadata due 15th Feb end of day AOE still. -#cui2023 papers chairs
