As uninspiring questions go: This is one.

I took some short trainings at work that covered topics like emotional intelligence and unconscious bias recently. This topics fascinate me, and I am hoping I can put what I have learned into practice as a supervisor at work.

I’m learning a little bit about Windows 11. Specifically, using multiple monitors. I knew how to do it already using older versions of Windows, but I have to come up with something for this post, right?

I am constantly learning about life post-gastric bypass. The most recent thing is, am I having actual episodes of low blood sugar? Is that even a thing? I’ll ask my doctor when I check in with her next week. I’m sure I’ll let you know what she says.

Also, I am constantly trying to learn more about playing guitar, using guitar gear, and photography. I can’t think of anything I’ve learned recently that has turned my thinking upside down or anything, but I’m always on the look out for new things.

There… a few uninspiring answers to an uninspiring question. Happy Saturday, oh my readers and only friends.

It’s all about experience

It’s how much we are willing to change our eye glasses and how we see things

It’s all about to protect our hearts

Lessons:

  1. Embrace Resilience: Life’s journey is filled with twists and turns. Embracing resilience teaches us to navigate challenges, bounce back from setbacks, and emerge stronger. Like a tree bending in the wind, resilience allows us to weather the storms of life while staying rooted in our purpose.
  2. Practice Empathy: Understanding others’ perspectives fosters compassion and unity. By practicing empathy, we build connections that bridge gaps and create a world where kindness and understanding prevail. It’s a lesson that transforms not just our relationships but the entire fabric of society.
  3. Cherish the Present: Amidst the rush of life, it’s essential to savor the present moment. Whether in moments of happiness or simplicity, learning to appreciate the now brings a profound sense of fulfillment. Life unfolds in the present, and recognizing its beauty enriches our journey. ( remember it’s Devine timing no matter what we do )

Great Skill:

Mindfulness:

Mastering mindfulness is a powerful skill. It involves being fully present, aware of my thoughts and feelings without being overwhelmed by them. This skill enhances focus, reduces stress, (tbc ) and allows us to make more conscious choices.

By practicing mindfulness, we cultivate a deeper connection with ourselves and the world around us, fostering a more balanced and meaningful life.
