This popped up yesterday and I found the idea fascinating and one I hadn’t seen before - there are two players alternating on GM duties running two heroes through connected, parallel adventures.
I want to buy it simply to see if they manage this audacious idea!

The DC Heroes RPG 40th anniversary reprint edition Kickstarter is up and running, already tearing past the halfway mark and looking as though it will be taking in a huge pile o' cash.
A brilliant design in many ways (with a few flaws… I think it's Jupiter and Saturn that are both the same distance from the sun in DC Heroes, because of the way its logarithmic scale works) and some terrific designers worked on the game and its support: the Batman sourcebook was by Mike Stackpole, for instance.
I enjoyed it in the eighties, but despite my Nostalgia Sense tingling I'll be skipping this one.

@zozo I recall "Caped Crusaders" in #WhiteDwarf 76 (Apr 1986) - around the time of DC's "Crisis on Infinite Earths" - advised on running superhero campaigns (particularly Games Workshop's own "Golden Heroes"), and warned "You could, if you wanted, simply use the Marvel or DC worlds (though you might be advised to wait until DC finish rationalising their hugely complicated universe before using it)." Then the next month was the review of the first edition of Mayfair's #DCHeroes...

In My currently on hiatus Legion of Super Heroes game I refused to let Humans have the default power of being “the otherwise normal race that gets super powers from mutation incidents” or and wanted to give Humans a racial super power. We settled on Heightened Endurance as from the “humans as pursuit predator” idea and it’s worked well. So I was jazzed to read this entry in the Humans are Space Orcs series

Act I/3: Flashback, Kyle voice over re stealing from one of the Roman’s – aka Carmine Falcone’s – penthouses. A high society party where Falcone is keeping up his influence over the City's the great and powerful – one of whom is Kyle disguised as a try-hard society matron with a beefcake boyfriend. Said beefcake hits on the young, beautiful, (and second) Mrs. Falcone, causing a scene so Kyle can case the place and disable alarms.
Act I/2: Left with no where to go, Kyle settles like a cornered cat. The play of Bradley’s flashlight shows thieving and disguise equipment and a foot high statue of Libertas, Roman goddess of liberty (and incidentally, cats). Bradley starts questioning; she confronts him with being in the pay of The Roman; he says he just wants the truth. Kyle relaxes, settling onto a stool for a game of verbal cat and mouse. “Give it to me from the beginning…”
Act I/1: Selena Kyle (Berry) is pursued through the rickety interior of one of Gotham’s abandoned buildings, and eventually she is cornered in a room with boarded up windows. Her pursuer turns out to be Slam Bradley, being played by Benjamin Bratt (who like Berry was given nothing to work with last time). Bradley is a classic tough-as-nails, whip smart PI. I kind of want this whole sequence to feel like J’s opening chase in _Men in Black_.
DC post 2000 movies revisited:
Realized I missed one earlier, and and thus a swing at 2004’s Catwoman. Even without hindsight this should have been a lead in to the Batman Begins, as the two were in production at the same time. Have Wilkenson on hand as Carmine Falcone to establish Falcone as a villain before Batman Begins. I’d also frame some of it _Usual Suspects_ style with the story coming out under interrogation.
