This is also a great announcement, because Wirepas has been working closely with Nordic Semiconductor to enable ultra-reliability and large-scale private networks at an affordable cost using the #nRF9x product family. DECT NR+ enables them to build large mesh networks that can serve use cases in #SmartMetering and #smartbuilding.

Did some a bit of static work on visualizing a DECT NR+ demo we're showing at #MWC2024. It's a bit sad that I don't get detail telemetry from the network, so this is only a very simplified approximation. But what's really cool (and hard to show) is that this network can span hundreds of meters using our super tiny chips. This makes me exciting for the potential applications that will be developed on top of it.
I've been working on a demo with Nordic Semiconductor hardware for #DectNRPlus and the amazing thing is that you get kilometer range with our small devices and all that without a SIM card. This will truly be a game-changer for wide-scale deployments of IoT devices in industrial and commercial applications because it makes the deployment cheap, robust and resilient. I'm very hyped about the potential!
