My heart is for Wout Van Aert today, but based on his performances at the start of this season (counting the cyclocross races around Christmas too) I think he's still feeling the repercussions of the falls he had last year. He may be physically recovered but he seems a lot more frightful of racing with the decisiveness required to be at the front of De Ronde at every step of the way.

I think one of my biggest regrets from my years living in Belgium is that I've never went to see live the Tour of Flanders. That I've never really spent time to ride any of the famous hellingen and koppen sections due to other little life dramas that had my attention.

But today it's off for one more time, marking the start of the Cycling Holly Week.
